Private Pilot
Goals
Getting your private pilot rating is the usual entry to flying, as a private pilot you can fly day and night, in good weather. Your training will require at least 40 hours of training including 30 hours of instruction and 10 hours of solo flight. Nationally students take on average 60-80 hours for training though everyone learns at their own pace. There really is no "good" as I train to proficiency

Airport operations, towered and untowered airports
Normal takeoffs and landings
Turns, steep turns, and stalls
Emergency procedures
Ground reference maneuvers
Basic instrument flight
Navigation
Night Operations
Flight planning
At the end of your successful training you will be qualified under part 61 to take your Private Airplane Single Engine Land checkride
